The major opposition Nepali Congress has urged the government and Speaker to call the federal parliament session.
The meeting of the current and former office bearers of the NC on Friday decided to call parliament session to discuss contemporary issues and Covid-19 impacts.

The meeting further has decided to launch protest programmes against government reasoning that it failed to contain pandemic; conducted objectionable behaviour against NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and involved in embezzlement in the purchase of medical stuffs, among other issues.

The NC central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel shared that the meeting decided to launch protest programmes in all 77 districts on December 14.
